Are you allergy-friendly?

Yes, we only use hospital-grade HPAC vacuum filters that are certified asthma and allergy-friendly. We also ensure that all waste is handled and disposed of correctly.

We are also seeking to implement even more safety considerations, such as door seals between rooms to help prevent dust distribution during cleaning.

If you have any allergies, please let us know in advance so that we may plan accordingly.

Should I move anything?

For the best results:

We ask that before our arrival, the main walkways and areas/items being cleaned are cleared of any small items or clutter that may get in the way of the machine & hoses.

This will allow the Technician more time to focus on your clean.
He will move the main furniture (sofa/table) whilst cleaning, however, any very Heavy or Delicate objects (bookcase/bed/TV) will be cleaned as far under as possible or around.

FAQ’s on Infection Control

and Bio-Hazard Fogging

How do you keep the air decontaminated, after a treatment?

Keeping the air decontaminated would require regular air treatments. This is where our surface protection comes in.

Our surface protection puts an anti-microbial coating onto the treated surfaces (which is odourless and non-tacky).

This effectively puts microscopic 'barbs' pointing up from all the surfaces. When a micro-organism lands on the surfaces it is completely broken apart meaning that it can't settle and reproduce on the surface. Since the majority of transmissions occur through touch, we have found this to be the most effective way to deal with it.

How effective is your decontamination services?

With industry leading technology and an experienced technician we are able to deliver treatments that are almost unrivalled. We can decontaminate up to a log kill 6. This is 99.9999% decontaminated. To put that into perspective some of the best off-the-shelf cleaning agents such as Bleach has only a log kill 3, or 99.9%.

Do you do homes as well?

Ordinarily this service is open to both businesses and homeowners / renters, however, during this unusual time it can be a challenge when completing treatments in people’s homes due to the lock-down imposed by the British Government.

When the treatment is carried out the property must be empty.

Feel free to give us a call so that together, we can find a way.

Is an overnight treatment an option?

Yes. We understand that keeping your business running during this time is difficult enough!

DC Carpet cleaning ltd are always more than happy to fit your requirements.
